Delete your account.
Deletion is built into the app: it erases your cloud data and account on the spot. No forms, no emails, no waiting period.
Delete From the App
- Open ExpenseZero and go to Settings. It is the gear icon on the home screen.
- Tap Delete Account. If you want a copy of your expenses first, use Settings → Export to save a CSV or PDF before this step.
- Confirm. Your account and synced data are erased immediately, and the app clears its local data on your device.
What Gets Deleted
- Cloud data. Every encrypted expense row synced to our servers.
- Your account. The user ID and the email address you signed in with.
- On your device. The local encrypted database and cache.
Deletion is immediate and permanent; there is no grace period and no way to restore the data afterwards. Anonymous crash and usage metrics contain no personal identifiers, so nothing there links back to you.
Already Uninstalled the App?
You can still have your cloud data and account removed without reinstalling anything.
Email us instead Write to support@expensezero.com from the address you used to sign in, and ask us to delete your account. A human handles it and confirms once everything is gone, usually within one business day.
Details on what ExpenseZero stores and why are in the privacy policy. If you used the app without signing in, nothing ever left your device; uninstalling removes it all.
